The superficial treatment of this subject was disappointing in a book relating a story of scientific discovery.. Buy it for cheap (like I did) or borrow it at a library. Be warned that these are SMALL TINY books. He gives the score for the principal themes and highlights of each movement and discusses them in a way that anyone with a basic skill in reading music can follow easily. So I would recommend people who need large fonts to do the same. Good web resource provided.
