The illustrations are engaging and humorous. For a start, in the many copyings over the past thousands years errors had accumulated, and there was a natural desire to use a more authentic text. Seuss and it is very unoriginal to try and ride that coattail. Instead more focus is on the accounting equation and how each transaction is on both sides of the ledger.
One note: I used the fifth edition of this text because I had a generous and understanding professor who understood the textbook pricing issues facing students.. It talks strategy, specifics, and gives suggestions. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes studing TITANIC, ANDREA DORIA, LUSITANIA, THE EMPRESS OF IRELAND, OR MY PERSONAL FAVORITE, BRITTANIC.
