Big Bird, obviously, reveals the perils of being too big. I found it fascinating to read about the world of Cafe Society, and to learn more about this period of American social history. Although not directed at the casual reader, the first part gives a succinct and accessible description of the institution’s origins, characteristics, and history. A great feature in this book is the section on staple cards (cards that fit well in all decks). I bought this as a follow up the the Pagano book, Natural alternative to healiing psoraisis. Interesting story. The title of this book is some what misleading as to its scope. I was in lightened.. They range from corporate examples such as the ultimate failure of Peoples Express airlines, a simple supply chain management scenario in the "Beer Game" and numerous examples from everyday life.
It's an easy reading book, very thought provoking, and enlightening, definitely worth picking up a copy. Extremely influential on my own political deve
