The book features ice cream themed references and examples to help demonstrate the practices. James Cherry does honor the ancestors in his verse, and he has honored the American canon by writing them.. If you've always wanted to apply principles of modern control theory, but never figured out how to reduce it to practice, then this book is for you. The pictures are great, they are clear, close and informative and clearly show how Jim Morrison created the theatrical aspects we so see so often in today's rock music. Also I don't think any of the books have enough photos of the great steamliners of the day (Commodore Vanderbilt, Hiawatha's, Crusader, Blue Goose, Coast Daylight, Mercury and Twentieth Century Limited) admittedly they were just steam engines with a covering shroud but they looked so good, especially the Dreyfuss designed Twentieth Century, the ultimate travelling experience, whose engine wheels were floodlit at night!
