The author did a great job.. It includes black-and-white illustrations, a few maps, selected reading, and an index. One draw-back is that the publication date is old (1991). Nancy Gibson's slender volume on the most fascinating and misunderstood animal in North America is filled with wonderful full color photography. I'm not really into these short story series anyway, but this one didn't give me enough to draw me in either. (p. It's not the first time I have ordered a book in used but good (or better) condition, and each time, I have been pleased that the condition is as reported with no hidden surprises of wear.
