Is Customer Support More Than A Necessary Evil? For decades the Theory of Constraints has revolutionized the business world from Production on the shop floor to Engineering, Project Management and Marketing & Sales, the implementation of TOC has resulted in systemwide improvements that have increased profitability without significant investment. In this book, the sequel to The Cash Machine, we learn how Customer Support, considered both the long arm of R&D and the extended support arm of Sales, can benefit from the application of TOC by becoming a profitable entity that sells services based on the value that's provided to customers and systematically puts resources and infrastructure in place in order to deliver quality support while making more money now and in the future.
Editorial :
In an appendix Shoenfield gives the Higman proof, nicely streamlined, of the characterization of finitely generated subgroups of finitely presented groups. Pffff. In general, he laments dressing down or "business casual." These things change, although he definitely stays away from trendy fashions in favor of more traditional garb. If you are looking for a tell-all book about the greats of the Tour de France, you will not find it here. With domestic personal demons at his door, he finds that substance abuse seems to ease their chatter. Lot of new and valuable information for those who are unfamiliar with the industry.
2)Covers many of the business aspects (3C and 4P) of digital marketing. As I saidCOOL!
You're not going to find anything Earth-shattering. The author did a great job.. There are hordes of very appropriate photographs that perfectly illustrate the topic discussed in the very readable and concise narration. There is a silver lining, though. Sir George Grove (
